Swazi Border Ride
19th March 2010 (Long weekend)
A self catering weekend on the Swaziland border. Absolutely stunning setting with miles and miles of riding for you to enjoy. Ride for the day on Saturday.
Shorter ride on Sunday and head for home on Monday.
3 and a half hours from OR Tambo Airport.
We stay in a beautiful camp - wooden chalets that sleep six, each with three bedrooms and two bathrooms - so bring your friends along. Hot showers, a nice play area for the kids and an ice cold pool. You can also wander down to the waterfall for a dip - guys this place is beautiful.
The riding is spectacular - we will mark over 100 kays of routes for you to enjoy. And there is a bit of everything - rivers, mountain passes, donga's, forests, rocks - a fantastic, beautiful place.
Arrive Friday. On Saturday you will spend the whole day in the saddle. Sunday - much the same with a shorter route and a picnic at the dam or one of the waterfalls.
On Monday - sleep late and head for home at your leisure.
Bring along all of your eats - we will sort fires in the evenings where we can get together for a lekker braai. Accommodation is very limited.
Chalets:
Costs : Adults R1500.00pp - 4 adults and more per chalet - Less 10 percent.
Kids under 12 - R650.00
Camping: Shared ablutions, hot showers, flush toilets - bring everything.
R900pp - kids u12 are free
Includes your accommodation, Resolution Health sponsored medics and a fantastic ride.
Booking forms: We don’t want to deal with cash on the day – and we need to determine catering quantities.
Price: Adults R250.00. Kids under 12: R150.00
Includes coffee and muffins, lunch and a really lekker outride…

Get on your bicycles!!!
Come and join the team from Family Adventures for a family MTB ride just 20 minutes from JHB International Airport.
This is not a race – it’s a family ride with miles of pristine terrain for you to enjoy.
All on private farmlands. Single spoor padjies, river crossings and lots of interesting terrain for you to explore.
All marked out, so you can ride at your own pace and enjoy.
Small kiddies trail
10 and 15 kay trail for the moms and kids.
50 kilometer outride.
Escape routes if it gets too far for you.
Marshals will be all along the route to assist and take photo’s etc.
Resolution insurance sponsored paramedics will be on hand for any tumbles or headaches.
We will be based at a scenic resort with shady trees, swimming pools and a jumping castle for the kids… so even if you don’t ride – come and chill for the day.
Coffee and muffins will be served in the morning (included in your entry), Boerie rolls, pannekoek etc for sale, upon your return.
Costs: R160.00 per rider. Kids Under 12 R120.00.
Kiddies Under 5 are Free
